Our Jesuit Heritage

Loyola Secondary School in Wau, South Sudan, is a proud Jesuit institution committed to providing quality education and forming young men and women for others. Our school is guided by the principles of Ignatian pedagogy, emphasizing academic excellence, spiritual growth, and social responsibility.

Since 1984, we have grown from a single secondary school into Loyola Schools — building primary and nursery sections so we can walk with students from their very first steps through to graduation, alongside strong technical training in six departments.

Academic Excellence

A rigorous curriculum fostering critical thinking and innovation.

Faith Formation

Nurturing spiritual growth and ethical values in the Jesuit tradition.

Service to Others

Encouraging community engagement and social responsibility.

Developing well-rounded individuals prepared for life's challenges.

Our Mission

We strive to educate the whole person — intellectually, spiritually, and socially — preparing our students to be leaders in their communities and agents of positive change in South Sudan and beyond.
